Day ONE! Wow, so far, amazing!

We arrived at Akron-Canton airport with plenty of time to spare. What a Breeze to fly CAK! And guess what airline? Breeze Airways! Nice Airbus A220, excellent flight and I had no idea we would fly over the Grand Canyon for what seemed its entire length! Breathtaking views. I will post the pictures in the places, pictures and views section. LAX and the freeways were challenging, but after bumper-to-bumper traffic at least 50% of the way, we finally made it to Historic Rt. 66 as we envisioned it. We met some great people already that are taking the same trip, and a vendor on Santa Monica Pier that was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Lan.

We bit off more that we could chew on this first day. Finally showered and typing this from the Motel. It's 9:34 pm Barstow, CA. time, but back home it's way past my bedtime! Enjoy whatever pictures I have the energy to upload and post! It should be an earlier day tomorrow and I'll get caught up.
